Public realm and Landscape masterplan for the development of a high density residential complex in Croydon, South London with a mixture of market value housing predominantly in the tower and affordable housing in the low rise housing on the first levels.
Working in Conjunction with the Architects, Darling Associates the design focused on public realm access and circulation. private and communal gardens areas and terrace gardens.
The proposal included the development of a central entrance forecourt and wide terraces and steps with integrated ramps; raised courtyard and seating areas, terraced planting beds and private and communal terrace gardens on 4th and 18th levels. Public realm design around the site included the upgrade of pavement footpath areas, street tree planting and groundcover planting.
